BELT was founded in 2021 by Evelyn Temmel and Bernhard Luthringshausen. Following our joint studies until 2011, we embarked on numerous projects together before establishing our office in Vienna.

Our work is centered on exploring the relationship between social change and the influence of socio-political principles on living environments and urban spaces, as well as the resulting transformation of residential typologies. Our projects span from urban planning and architectural design to interventions within and alongside existing structures.
